Our place is located on North Usman Road in T. Nagar, which everyone knows is one of the busiest parts of Chennai. We are at No. 4, though some older records still show it as No. 28. It gets really crowded around here, especially during the festival seasons when the shops are packed, but we’ve gotten used to the noise. Loyal Impex Pvt Ltd is run by a small group of us who have been in this area for years. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s more of a functional space where we handle our imports and exports without too much fuss. Sometimes the parking is a total nightmare on this street, so we usually tell people to come early or take an auto. The building is older but it serves us well. We spend our days mostly on the phone or checking through inventory lists. It’s a lot of routine work, but we like the rhythm of it. Being in T. Nagar means we have everything we need close by, from good tea stalls to the post office. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It feels like a real community here even with all the chaos of the city. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We like it here.
