Our place is at Oz-15 in the Hi-Tech Sez, which is part of the Sipcot Industrial Growth Centre in Oragadam. If you are driving towards Sriperumbudur in Kancheepuram, you will eventually find us. It’s a large industrial zone, so everything looks a bit the same after a while. We work with adhesive tapes and various bonding materials. It’s a lot of rolls of tape and cutting them to the right sizes. The humidity in this part of Tamil Nadu is no joke, especially in the middle of the day. Inside the facility, we try to keep things moving. We have a team that manages the machinery and the stock. It’s not a small operation, but we try to talk to each other like regular people. Sometimes the logistics can be a headache because of the traffic on the highway, but we manage. People here mostly care about getting the orders right. We don't spend much time on fancy office decor. The focus is on the floor where the real work happens. Most of the staff comes from nearby villages or the outskirts of Chennai. We’ve been at this location for a bit now, and we know the neighbors. It is a quiet enough spot once you get inside the SEZ gates. We just make sure the rolls are packed and ready for whenever the trucks arrive. We have a small canteen where we get our lunch and talk about the weekend.
