You can find us at No: 4, Svs Illam on Ramalingam Main Street. It is in Gandhi Nagar, Avadi, right here in Chennai. Lloyd Insulations India Ltd uses this space to manage our local insulation contracts. The humidity in Chennai can be a real pain for some of the materials we use, so we have to be careful about how we store things. Our office is tucked away in a street that feels quite local. We usually have a few motorbikes parked outside and the sound of the ceiling fan going all day. We do a lot of work with cold storage and acoustic panels for different businesses. It is not always easy work, especially when we have to climb up onto high roofs in the midday sun. We just get on with it, though. There are a few of us here who have seen the company grow over the years. We keep a stash of mineral wool and some aluminum sheets nearby for the smaller jobs. We do not go in for big presentations or anything like that. If someone needs a pipe wrapped or a ceiling insulated, we give them a price and get the crew started. It is a regular job with regular people just trying to do things right the first time around. Sometimes we stay late to finish the manifest, but mostly we head home once the sun goes down.
