Living Architecture

Living Architecture is located over in Nandanam, right near the signal and Lotus Colony. We’re in a ground-floor spot, G 5 on 1st Street. It’s a quiet enough area for the most part, though the traffic outside can get a bit loud during rush hour. We’ve been set up here for a bit, doing our thing with building designs and renovations. It’s a small team here. We don’t have any fancy receptionists or big corporate meetings. Usually, it’s just someone sketching at a desk or someone else out on a site visit. We mostly deal with people around the neighborhood and the wider Chennai area who need some help figuring out their house plans. We keep a lot of samples around—tiles, wood pieces, things like that—so the office often looks a bit messy. But we know where everything is. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just walking past while they’re in Lotus Colony. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. We just focus on the drawings. If someone drops by, we usually have time for a quick chat about what they’re looking for. It’s a simple way of working. We like being in Nandanam because it's central and easy for us to get to other parts of the city. We just stay busy with the work and try to keep things moving forward one project at a time. It’s not always easy, but we enjoy seeing the plans come together.
