Our base is at Door No. 19/6 on Bharathi Street in Gandhi Nagar, which is part of the Saligramam area in Chennai. It’s a typical city neighborhood, fairly crowded with houses and small shops all packed together. The street is narrow, and you have to watch out for the cows or the occasional delivery truck blocking the way. Our office is a simple place. We’ve got some old wooden desks and chairs that have seen better days, but they serve their purpose. We don’t have an HR department or a marketing team; we just have a few of us who do a bit of everything. From handling the shipping documents to answering the door, it’s all hands on deck. Saligramam has a specific feel to it, very much a part of the old Chennai vibe. We have some regulars who drop by just to say hello, even if they don't have business with us. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it’s on high, but it keeps the air moving. We spend our days mostly on the phone or checking emails. It can get a bit loud when the neighbors are out on the street, but that’s just life here. We’ve been at this address for a while and don’t see ourselves moving anytime soon. It’s a practical spot for what we do, and we’re used to the quirks of the building. There is a small shrine nearby where people leave flowers every morning.
