Jitender Kumar Company

Our place, Jitender Kumar Company, is situated on Linghi Chetty Street. We are at New No. 315, though the old number was 153. If you've ever been to this street, you know how busy it gets. It is one of those places where everyone seems to be in a hurry. We have a small office here where we handle our business affairs. It’s mostly desks and stacks of ledgers. We have been in this building for many years. The walls are thick and it stays relatively cool even when it’s hot outside. We spend our time going through documents and meeting with people who need our help. It isn't a glamorous job but it is steady. We like being in this part of the city because everything is close by. You can walk to the banks or the post office in just a few minutes. The tea seller down the road comes by twice a day, which is something we always look forward to. There is a lot of history on Linghi Chetty Street. You see it in the architecture of the older buildings around us. We just do our work and try to stay organized. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other days it is very quiet. We take it as it comes. This is our little corner of the world and we keep at it. There is always plenty to do tomorrow.
