Liner Shipping

Liner Shipping is a small operation located at No5, 24th Street, in Sivasakthinagar. We are in the B-Sector of Annaur, Chennai-109. It’s a quiet residential-turning-commercial kind of area. Our office is on the ground floor, so it’s easy for people to find us. We handle shipping tasks, which involves a lot of back-and-forth with the docks. It’s not the kind of job you see in movies; it’s mostly just us sitting at desks, drinking coffee, and making sure the numbers match up on the forms. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or slogans on the walls. We just have calendars and some photos of the family. The 24th Street can be a bit tricky to navigate if you’re not from around here, but once you find us, it’s pretty straightforward. We’ve been here for several years, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The staff here are mostly locals who live nearby. We don’t try to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. If someone calls, we just answer the phone and tell them the status of their cargo. Sometimes the rain floods the street a little, and we have to put out sandbags, but we still show up for work. It’s just a plain, honest business where we try to do right by the people who hire us to handle their goods.
