Light Art

We have been here on T T K Road in Alwarpet for quite a while now. Most people know the spot near the 406 building. It is a busy area, but we have managed to keep things running smoothly. When we started Light Art, the idea was just to have a place where people could find what they needed for their homes without too much fuss. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic, especially during the evenings, but inside it is mostly just us working through orders and keeping things tidy. We usually have a few regulars who stop by just to say hello or ask about something they saw the week before. The shop isn't fancy. There are boxes stacked in the corners sometimes and the desk usually has a layer of paperwork on it. That is just how it goes when you are busy. We try to keep track of everything, but sometimes the phone rings while we are talking to someone at the counter and things get a bit hectic. Living and working in Alwarpet means you get to know the neighbors. You see the same faces every day at the tea stall or waiting for the bus. It makes the work feel more like a part of the day rather than just a job. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or big signs. The name is on the door and we are usually inside if you need anything. It is simple enough.
