Leather Park

Leather Park is right on Vepery High Road, at number 11. It used to be number 6, which still confuses some of the older delivery drivers sometimes. We are very close to the State Bank of India in Periamet, so that’s the easiest way to find us. This part of town is famous for leather, so the whole street has that specific smell of tanned hides and chemicals. Our building is old, and the stairs are a bit steep. Inside, we have stacks of samples and rolls of material piled up high. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. The fans hum all day long to keep the air moving, but it still gets quite warm in the afternoons. We don't have any shiny showrooms or anything like that. It’s mostly just a workspace where we handle the orders and talk to suppliers. Periamet is always crowded, with trucks loading and unloading right on the main road. We’ve been at this spot for years, and the neighbors are all in the same trade. Usually, we are too busy checking the quality of the latest batch to worry about much else. We keep things pretty straightforward and don't spend money on fancy decorations. It’s just a practical place for a practical business. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking invoices while the traffic noise outside never really stops.
