Lanson Cars Pvt Ltd Pallikaranai is situated right on the 200 Feet Main Road. If you are driving between Thoraipakkam and Pallavaram, you’ve probably seen us. The address is a bit of a mouthful with all those plot numbers like 57/3 and 65/6-B, but basically, we are just a big lot in Trisoolam where we keep the cars. It gets really dusty out here because of all the traffic on the main road, so someone is usually out there with a cloth trying to keep the windows clear. It’s a busy stretch of road and sometimes the noise from the flyover is a bit much. Inside the building, it’s mostly just desks and the service area in the back. We have been here long enough that the regulars know where to park without being told. The coffee machine in the corner breaks down about once a month, and the AC struggles when it gets really hot in May, but we manage. Most of the guys working here have lived in this part of Chennai their whole lives. We talk about the local traffic more than anything else. There is a lot of paperwork involved in what we do, so you’ll see piles of files on the desks most afternoons. We aren't a fancy boutique. It’s a car place. It smells like tires and floor cleaner, and that’s fine by us. We just stay busy and try to keep things organized at No 57/3.
