Land Marvel Constructions

We've been over here at Kasthuribhai Nagar for a while now. If you have spent any time around Adyar, you probably know the little street tucked away behind the Lancer showroom. That is exactly where we set up Land Marvel Constructions. It started out pretty small, just a few of us who wanted to do construction work that actually holds up over the years. We mostly deal with residential projects, doing everything from putting up the main walls to making sure the plumbing doesn't leak once the family moves in. It is a lot of coordination between the cement guys and the electricians, which can be a headache, but we manage. Sometimes things get a bit messy on the site, but that is just how building goes. We are not a giant firm with fancy lobbies or leather chairs. It is mostly just desks covered in dusty blueprints and people coming in with muddy boots after checking on a foundation. People in the neighborhood usually stop by to ask about small renovations or if we are starting anything new nearby. We try to keep things very straightforward. If a wall needs to be built a certain way to stay strong, we just tell you. We do not use big words to describe a simple slab of concrete. It is hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the site, but seeing a house actually stand up is a good feeling. We stay busy and keep our heads down.
