Lakshmiah & Co is located at No 225 on N S C Bose Road. We are on the first floor, and the easiest way to explain where we are is to say we are right above Hot Chips. Most people in Parrys or the 600001 area know where that Hot Chips is, so it makes giving directions a lot simpler. Being above a food place means there is always the smell of snacks drifting up, which isn't the worst thing in the world. The building is older, and the stairs to the first floor have been worn down by a lot of feet over the years. We are right in the middle of Parrys, so it is extremely busy from morning until late evening. The noise from the street is constant, but you eventually stop noticing it. Inside, the office is just a regular room with the basics. We don't have anything polished or fancy. It’s just where we come to work. The location is good because everything you could need is within walking distance, even if the streets are narrow and packed with people. Sometimes it’s a struggle to get through the crowd to the front door, especially when the delivery trucks are unloading nearby. It’s a very real, gritty part of Chennai, and we are just another small business doing our thing on NSC Bose Road.
