Lakshana Exim India Private Limited is over at New No. 38, Old No. 42/11, Kothandaraman Lane. We are right near the Maharani Post Office in Old Washermenpet, Chennai. This part of the city has a lot of history. The lane is narrow, and you really have to know where you're going to find us. We’ve been here for a good while. Our office is tucked away, and it’s mostly filled with the sound of keyboards and the occasional doorbell. We do a lot of export and import work. Most of our day involves checking documents and calling up the port to see where our containers are. It’s a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing around. Old Washermenpet is a very busy area, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We don't have a big sign or anything. We just have our name on the door. Inside, it’s just a few of us working at our desks. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the regulations. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll see people in suits. We wear what’s comfortable for the weather. It’s a practical office for a practical business. We’ve grown used to the quirks of this old building. It’s where we feel most at home. We just focus on the work and let the results speak for themselves. It is a good enough place.
