It has high ceilings and those old-style windows. We do a lot of impex work here, dealing with a variety of goods coming through the port. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in what we do. We have files stacked up on almost every flat surface. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes. We know most of the other business owners on the street. We often stand out front for a few minutes to catch a breeze and talk to the neighbors. It’s a very local way of doing business. We don't have a corporate handbook or anything. We just know who needs to do what. The fans hum all day long to keep the humidity away. It’s a busy, cramped, and lively place to work. We like the energy of Mannady. It keeps us on our toes. You won't find any marble floors here, just some worn-out tiles and people who know how to get things shipped on time. It is a bit messy but we get it done.
