Kumbhat Shrink Packaging And Labels is over at D-10 in the Ambattur Industrial Estate. It’s a busy place to be, especially with all the other manufacturing units nearby. We’ve been focusing on labels and shrink packaging for a long time now. The facility isn’t anything fancy to look at from the outside, just a large grey building with our name on a small sign. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of the machines running. We spend a lot of time making sure the heat settings are right for the shrink film and that the labels are printing clearly. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it needs to be done carefully so the products look right. We have a small crew here, and most of us have been together for years. We know each other's families and often share lunch in the break room. The industrial estate can be a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with it, and the roads aren't always in the best shape. We’ve had many delivery drivers call us lost. We don't bother with much advertising because our work usually speaks for itself to the people who need packaging. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, run the machines, pack the orders, and go home. There’s always a lot of plastic scraps around, but we try to keep the place as tidy as we can given the volume of work we handle daily.
