Our place is in Balaji Nagar, over in Gerugambakkam. We are at Plot-26 in the Priyam Apartments, specifically Block A-G1. It’s an apartment-style office, which makes it feel a bit more like a home than a sterile workplace. We like it that way because it’s comfortable and we don’t feel like we’re stuck in a giant glass box all day. Kriyash Consultancy is a small operation. Most of our work involves sitting around the table and figuring out how to help our clients with their various needs. We have a lot of books and papers scattered around. Gerugambakkam is a growing area, so there is always some construction or something going on nearby. It can get a bit loud, but we just shut the windows and keep going. We don’t have any big slogans or missions written on the walls. We just have a calendar and some to-do lists that we try to follow. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We handle everything ourselves, from answering the phone to filing the taxes. It’s been a good spot for us so far. Being in the Priyam Apartments means we know our neighbors and it feels safe and steady. We just show up every morning, do the work that needs doing, and head home when we’re finished. It’s an honest day's work in a quiet corner of Chennai for us.
