Sanjay Electric Company

We are situated on the first floor at 3 Krishna Iyer Street. You have to walk up a narrow set of stairs to reach us. The building is quite old and has that characteristic smell of aged wood and brick. Once you get inside, it’s a mix of electrical supplies and old filing cabinets. We have wires hanging from racks and boxes of switches stacked near the windows. The light coming in from the street helps, but we still have several fluorescent tubes that flicker occasionally. We spend a lot of time checking invoices and organizing the stock that comes in every week. It’s a bit of a workout moving things up and down those stairs, but we’ve gotten used to it. The space isn't very big, so we have to be smart about where we put things. Usually, there is some music playing from a small speaker to keep things lively while we work. Krishna Iyer Street is a busy place with lots of other shops, so there’s always a hum of activity outside. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we often help each other out. Our days are filled with taking orders over the phone or helping people who manage to find their way up to our floor. It’s a modest setup, but it serves us well for the electrical business. We just keep things moving and try to stay on top of the inventory.
