Sri Balaji Tech

Over at No. 50 Bajanai Kovi Street in Pattaravakkam, you’ll find us at Sri Balaji Tech. We are a small technical shop. Most of what we do involves repairs and fixing various mechanical or electronic things that people bring in. The street we are on is usually pretty busy with people going to the temple nearby. Our workshop is small and usually smells a bit like grease and solder. It’s definitely not the cleanest place in the world, but we work hard there every day. We have a few workbenches and a lot of tools hanging on the walls. Most of the people who come to us are locals from Pattaravakkam who have known us for a long time. We don't spend any money on advertising or things like that. Word just gets around when someone gets their stuff fixed properly. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time now. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze we can. Sometimes we have to wait for parts to arrive which can be frustrating for us and the customers, but that is just out of our hands. It’s a simple operation. We aren't a big factory or anything, just a few guys who know how to work with their hands and fix things. We like being in this part of town because it feels like home. There’s always someone stopping by to ask a question or drop something off for us to look at.
