Ishika Exports

Our office is up on the second floor of Aravind Towers, specifically 603 A, right on Periyar Road in Korattor. If you are coming to see Ishika Exports, you have to look for the building carefully because the signs on the road can be a bit cluttered. The stairs are fine, but most people just take the lift to the second floor. It’s a decent enough space, though we could probably use a bit more room for all the stuff we handle. Korattor is a nice place to work out of, it feels like its own little town sometimes. Inside the office, things are usually a bit messy with samples and boxes tucked into corners. We don’t really have a receptionist or any fancy lobby; you just walk in and someone will be there at a desk. We spend a lot of our time checking over lists and making sure the numbers match up. Sometimes the afternoon sun hits the windows pretty hard, so we keep the blinds down most of the day. It’s just regular people working here, no big suits or complicated corporate talk. We mostly talk about what needs to be shipped out next and who is running late with a delivery. It’s a practical way to spend the day. We’ve been at this for a bit now, and we just keep at it, one day at a time, without making too much of a fuss about it.
