We have been operating out of No. 46 Sivananda Nagar 1st Street for quite some time now. Most people in Kolathur just know us as the water guys on the corner. It is a plain building, nothing special to look at, but it works for what we need. Every morning we open up the shutters and start the day. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with scooters and delivery trucks, especially near Sivananda Nagar, but we manage. It is a simple setup here. We deal with various water-related things every day. It is not the kind of job that changes much from week to week. We have a small desk near the front where we keep all the records. It gets a bit dusty with the windows open, but that is just how it is. My uncle started things off years ago and we just kept it going. We do not have a big website or a social media page because we are usually too busy working. People just drop by when they have a question or need something handled. It is a practical way to run a business. We know the neighbors and they know us. The tea shop down the road is where we usually take our breaks. It is just a normal life here in this part of town. We just focus on getting the tasks done without making a big fuss about it. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our little spot stays pretty much the same.
