F & G Export House

You can find us at No. 37 Gandhi Street, right in the Thenpalani Nagar Extension area of Kolathur. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the city center, but it’s where we’ve set up shop. The "Export House" part of our name might make it sound like we have a massive warehouse, but it’s actually a pretty modest building. We’ve been at this location for a few years, and we’ve gotten to know the neighbors well. There’s a lot of construction going on around here lately, so it’s always a bit dusty. We spend most of our mornings going through the inventory and making sure everything matches the manifests. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy descriptions of what we do. It’s just us, some sturdy desks, and a lot of coffee. The heat in Kolathur can get pretty intense, so the afternoon slump is a real thing. We usually power through it by talking about sports or what’s for lunch. We handle a variety of goods for export, and it’s mostly about logistics and timing. If you’re looking for a shiny office with glass walls, you won’t find it at No. 37. We just have what we need to get the job done and nothing more. It’s a practical setup for a practical business and it works for us.
