Shree Beads Findings is located on P. A Koil Street. It’s one of those streets that’s always full of life and a bit of chaos. We deal with beads and all the small metal findings you need to make jewelry. It’s very detailed work. We have thousands of different items, and they are all stored in these tiny little boxes and drawers. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning in beads. The shop is small and the shelves go all the way up to the ceiling. We have a rolling ladder that we use to get to the top ones, though it squeaks a lot. We’ve been in this neighborhood for years and we know all the other shopkeepers. It’s a tight-knit community. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's more like a warehouse where you can come and browse through the bins. We often have customers sitting on the small stools we have, picking out exactly the right shade of blue or the right size of clasp. It’s a slow process sometimes, but we don't mind. We aren't trying to be a massive supplier. We just like what we do. The lighting in the back of the shop isn't great, so we usually bring things to the front to see them better in the sunlight. It takes a bit of patience to find what you want, but we help when we can.
