Prawin Exim

We are located at New No. 21/13 on 6th Street in Gandhi Nagar, which is part of the Kodungaiyur area. It is a local spot and we’ve been here for a while. Prawin Exim is basically a small team of us working out of this space to manage our trade business. The street can get pretty narrow, so getting big trucks in and out is always a bit of a challenge, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on the computer checking where things are. It’s not always the most exciting work, but it’s what we know how to do. We deal with various items, and each one has its own set of rules for how it needs to be moved. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations in the office; it’s mostly just practical stuff like scales, packing tape, and boxes. We try to keep a steady rhythm, getting the paperwork sorted in the morning and then dealing with the physical stock in the afternoons. Sometimes things get mixed up and we have to spend hours straightening it out, but that's life. Being in Kodungaiyur means we are close to the action, and we like the vibe of Gandhi Nagar. It’s a hardworking neighborhood, and we fit right in with our little setup here.
