Veneers Ply Kodambakkam

Our shop is at number 300/198 on Arcot Road in Kodambakkam. It’s a very busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the buses and bikes passing by. We deal with a lot of heavy stuff here, so the floors are pretty scratched up and there is always a bit of sawdust in the corners no matter how much we sweep. The space is filled with different sheets of wood and ply, and the smell of the warehouse is the first thing you notice when you walk in. It’s a strong, earthy scent that stays on your clothes. We don't have a lot of space for a fancy office, so we just have a small desk tucked into the corner where we handle the paperwork and talk to whoever comes in. Usually, it's people working on their homes or contractors looking for specific materials. We spend a lot of time moving things around to get to the pieces at the back of the stacks. It’s physical work and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired. Arcot Road is a landmark in itself, so people don't usually have a hard time finding where we are located. We’ve been in Kodambakkam for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Despite all the new buildings around, our shop stays pretty much the same. It’s a straightforward business, and we just focus on getting the right materials out to the people who need them.
