We are over at No. 8-C in Riaz Garden, right on Kodambakkam High Road. It’s a pretty busy area and the noise from the street never really stops during the day. We’ve been running our trading operations from this spot for some time now. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks, computers, and a lot of files stacked up in the corners. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or responding to emails about shipments and pricing. Sometimes the internet acts up and we all have to take a break until it comes back. We aren't a big corporation with fancy lobbies. It’s just us trying to keep the trade moving smoothly. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually end up when things get too stressful. We deal with all sorts of goods and suppliers, so every day feels a bit different. One day we are worried about a delay at the port, and the next we are just trying to organize the local deliveries. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up. We don't really have a big philosophy or anything. We just come in, do the work that’s on the desk, and go home to our families. The Riaz Garden building is older, so it has its quirks, like the elevator that sometimes makes a funny noise. But it’s home for the business and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
