We've been here at K.M.A Auto Components Pvt. Ltd. in the Ambattur Industrial Estate for a good while now. Our place is on 3rd Main Road, specifically at Old-2B. It’s a busy area and we fit right in with the other workshops around here. People know us for making auto parts and components. It’s mostly metal work and getting things sized right for cars and machines. The shop stays pretty loud most days with the machines running, but that's just how it is in an industrial estate. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It's just a practical space where we get the work done. Most of the guys here have been working with tools for years. We handle different types of orders depending on what someone needs for their vehicle or project. Sometimes it’s a lot of small parts, other times it’s something bigger. Being in Ambattur makes it easy for trucks to come and go, which helps with moving the heavy stuff. We keep our tools organized, or at least we try to. There’s always grease around and the smell of cut metal. It’s honest work and we just focus on making sure the parts we put out are what they’re supposed to be. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing big reports. Usually, if someone needs something, they just drop by the shop or give us a call to see if we can do it.
