KKR Architects

KKR Architects is located at No 14 on Mayor Sivaraj Street. We are right in Royapettah, very close to the police station, which is the easiest way to tell people where to find us. It’s an old part of Chennai with a lot of character. Our office is a simple space where we do all our architectural drawings and planning. We aren't interested in being a big, flashy firm with glass walls and expensive rugs. We have some desks, a few good computers, and plenty of rolls of paper everywhere. Most of the time, we are either hunched over a drawing or out at a site checking on how a wall is being built. The street can be a bit narrow and crowded, especially during the middle of the day, but it’s our home. We’ve been working in Royapettah for a long time. People around here know us. We don't have a sales team or a fancy website that talks about things we don't do. We just talk to people about what they want to build and then we try to figure out how to make it happen within their budget. It’s practical work. Sometimes the plans change halfway through, or a client changes their mind about a window, and we just redraw it. That’s just part of the job. We keep it simple and honest. If you are near the police station, we are just a short walk away on Mayor Sivaraj Street.
