Kirloskar Constructions

Kirloskar Constructions is based out of Ragesh Bhavanam. We are over in Eravichira, specifically in the Naduvil Patharam area of Kollam. Kerala is a beautiful place to work, but the weather keeps us on our toes. The office is basically part of the house. It's where the phone rings and the plans are spread out on the table. We don't have a corporate office in a big tower. It’s just a local spot where we handle our business. People stop by to talk about their projects, and we sit down with some tea. Patharam is a quiet place. Most of our workers live nearby. We know the families and the local shops. When we start a new construction, we have to think about the rain drainage first thing. That’s just how it is here. The ground can get very soft. We’ve been doing this for a long time, so we have a feel for it. We don't use much marketing talk. We just tell people what is possible and what isn't. Sometimes the supplies are hard to get out to this part of Kerala, but we manage. It’s a slow and steady kind of life. We enjoy seeing a project come together from the ground up. It takes a lot of effort and many long days, but we just keep going. Every brick matters when you're building for your neighbors and friends.
