Grace Exports Chennai

Our office is at 2/7 Vasu Street in Kilpauk. If you know Chennai, you know Kilpauk is a busy place with a lot of history. Vasu Street is a bit of an older road, and our building fits right in. We’ve been operating Grace Exports from here for quite a while now. It’s not a large office, just enough space for me and two other staff members. We don't have any fancy decorations or a big sign. We just have our desks, the computers, and a lot of folders full of shipping documents. Being in this part of the city is good because we aren't too far from the port. Most of our day is spent on the phone or sending emails to clear shipments. It can be quite a lot of pressure when things are moving slowly at customs, but we’ve learned to be patient. We don't try to use big words or sound like a polished corporate business. We’re just a small local team. The traffic to get here in the morning can be a real struggle, so we often start a bit later and stay later in the evening. We usually have some tea in the afternoon and talk about what needs to be finished before the day ends. It’s a straightforward way of working. We know the neighbors and the local shops, and it feels like a real community here on this street.
