If you are walking down Sarojini Street in Nungambakkam, you will find us at number 6. We are Kids Choice Exim Pvt. Ltd., and we have been based here in Mahalingaapuram for a good while. The neighborhood is mostly busy streets and old trees. Our building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but inside we are usually surrounded by stacks of children's items. We do a lot of importing and exporting, so there are always boxes arriving from the port or getting ready to go out. It can get pretty cramped in the office when a new shipment comes in. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or corporate art on the walls. It’s mostly just shelves and desks. Nungambakkam traffic is pretty famous for being bad, so we try to get our deliveries done early in the morning. The people who work here are a small group. We don't have big meetings or long presentations. We just check the manifests and make sure the quality is what it should be. It’s a lot of paperwork and physical moving of goods. We like being in this part of Chennai because it feels like the heart of the city. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We are just here to move toys and clothes from one place to another and make sure the business stays steady.
