Khivraj Motors Mount Road

We've been here on Anna Salai for a good while now. Most folks remember the old Saffire Cinema Hall nearby, so that's usually how we tell people where to find us. We're right there at No 623. It gets pretty busy around Mount Road and Greames Road, but we keep things moving. We handle cars and motors mostly. The shop isn't fancy or anything, but it gets the job done. I started working here because I like being around engines and the noise of the street. Some days are hectic with the traffic outside, but we manage. People drop by when their vehicle starts making a funny sound or just needs a look over. We don't do big speeches or fancy ads. It’s just us working through the day. Sometimes the rain makes the road a mess, but we’re open anyway. If you're heading down towards the old cinema spot, you'll see our sign. It’s a local place. We know the neighbors. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years. Buildings go up and shops close down, but we’re still here on the corner. It's practical work. Nothing more to it than that. We just show up, open the doors, and get to work on whatever comes in. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until we lock up at night. Sometimes the tea break is the only quiet moment we get. We like the regulars who stop to chat for a minute.
