Khandelwal International

Khandelwal International is based at No. 18/1, Kannappa Nagar 3rd Main Road. We’re down in Thiruvanmiyur, not too far from the beach if you drive a bit. The office is a regular building on a street that stays mostly quiet compared to the main roads. We deal with international trade and various products that come and go through the ports. It’s a lot of coordinating with different people and making sure the documents are all in order. We have a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets because there’s always something to keep track of. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. Sometimes we stay late because of the time differences with other countries. We have tea together in the afternoon when things slow down for a minute. The space is a bit cluttered with samples and old files, but we know where everything is. People in the neighborhood might not even know what goes on inside, as we don't have big signs or bright lights. We just prefer to keep a low profile and get the work done. Thiruvanmiyur is a nice place to work because it’s a bit more relaxed than the city center. We’ve been at this address for some time now and it feels like home. It’s just us, the phones, and the stacks of paper that come with the trade business. There is always a new shipment to track.
