You can find Keynes Business Systems at 2 Montieth Lane in Egmore. It’s a little lane off the main road, so it’s slightly tucked away. Egmore is such a busy hub with the station and all the old buildings around. Our office is a simple setup where we handle all the technical and business things we do. It’s not a place with shiny glass walls or anything like that. We have some old desks, a few computers, and a lot of cables running around the floor. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite some time now. Some days it’s just us answering emails and fixing problems over the phone. Other days, people drop by to talk about their systems. We usually have a stack of old newspapers in the corner and a coffee machine that works most of the time. It feels like a real workplace, not a movie set. The windows look out onto the lane, and we can see people coming and going. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when there is construction nearby, but we just close the windows and carry on. We are a small group of people who just know how to handle the work. We don't have any big titles or fancy uniforms. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and go home. It’s a steady way to live and work in the city and we have gotten used to the pace.
