Keshav Chairs Pvt Ltd is located on 100 Feet Road in Vadapalani. The address is New No 32. If you know Chennai, you know how busy 100 Feet Road can get at almost any hour of the day. There is always the sound of horns and buses going by. We have a lot of chairs here, all different kinds, just piled up or lined against the walls. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when a new shipment comes in. We spend most of our time helping people find something comfortable to sit on. The building has been here for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. It used to be much quieter, but now it’s all big buildings and shops. We are just one of the many businesses along this stretch. The guys in the back are usually busy fixing things or unpacking boxes. We don’t really bother with any of that corporate stuff; we just focus on the work at hand. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy with bubble wrap and tape, but we try to tidy up before we head home for the night. It’s a long day usually, starting early and ending late to beat the worst of the traffic. We know the other shop owners on this block and sometimes we share a coffee in the afternoon. It’s a busy life but it keeps us going and we like what we do.
