Kesar Exim

We’ve been here at Anna Pillai Street for a while now. It’s right near Chandrapuri Bhawan in Sowcarpet, so you know how busy it gets around here. Our place is at No 40 and 41. Some days the traffic outside is just a mess, especially when the lorries come in, but we’re used to it. The office isn't anything fancy. It's just a couple of rooms where we handle our export and import stuff. Most of the morning is spent checking papers and making sure things are moving. We have a few desks and a lot of files piled up. If you're coming to see us, just look for the landmark. People usually get lost in these narrow lanes if they don't know Sowcarpet well. It’s a bit cramped inside but it works for what we do. The tea guy comes by around eleven and that’s usually when we take a small break. It's a loud area with all the shouting and carts passing by, but that’s just how the market is. We stay busy with the paperwork and the phone calls. Sometimes the power goes for a bit, but we just keep going. It’s a practical space. Nothing more to it. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that. Just the desks and our Kesar Exim team working through the day. We like it here despite the noise and the constant rush of people.
