Kayser Electricals

Being down on Linghi Chetty Street means things are always loud and moving. Kayser Electricals has been part of the Parrys Mannady area for quite some time. It is a crowded part of town, but we like the energy here. Our place at 212/218 is where we keep all the stock and talk to the people who come in looking for parts. It is not some shiny showroom with bright lights and air conditioning. It is mostly just shelves full of electrical gear and a desk where we handle the paperwork. Sometimes finding a place to park outside is nearly impossible, but customers still find their way to us. We know the regulars by name and they know we won’t give them the runaround. We don’t spend money on big ads or fancy websites. Most of what we do is just based on people telling their friends where to find us. If we have it, we’ll tell you. If we don’t, we’ll see if we can get it or tell you who might have it instead. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get through the day. Working in the electrical trade in such an old part of the city means we see all sorts of interesting projects. We just stick to what we know and try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door.
