Kara Consulting (Opc) Private Limited is located in Mylapore, which is one of the older parts of Chennai. We are in the Kamalini building, specifically Flat 2 on the second floor. The address is 31 on the C.I.T. Colony 1st Main Road, though some paperwork says Old Number 16. It’s New No 600004. The building is a bit older and doesn’t have an elevator, so we get our exercise going up and down the stairs. Mylapore is a great area because there is always something to see, even if the traffic is a nightmare. Our office is just a regular flat that we use for work. It has a kitchen where we make tea and a couple of rooms for our desks. We don't have a big corporate team, it’s a very small operation. That is why we like it here. It feels more personal and less like a factory. The windows are large so we get some good light in the mornings. We have books and files everywhere because we haven't quite moved everything to the computer yet. It’s a bit old-fashioned in some ways, but it works for us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby or modern art. We just want a quiet corner to do our work and talk to the people who come by. It is a very normal, practical space for a small business in the city.
