Down by the ECR in Kanathur, we have our place at Plot No. 80 81 in the Royal Sea View Compound. It sounds like a fancy name but it’s mostly just a practical space where we handle gaskets and filters. Being near the sea is nice because of the breeze, though the salt air isn't always great for the machinery. We have a lot of metal parts and heavy filters sitting around. The floor is concrete and gets pretty messy with oil and dust during the workday. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find us near the machines or checking the stock in the back. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here from the city center, but we like the extra space we have for the inventory. We spend a lot of time checking measurements and making sure the gaskets are cut right. It’s noisy work and we usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the equipment. We’ve been operating from this compound for some time now and most of the guys here have been with us since the start. We just do the work, pack the orders, and send them out on the trucks that come by. There's always something to clean or fix when the machines stop at the end of the shift.
