Renu Plastics

Renu Plastics is located at No. 1A on Kathiravan Street. We’re in the Kamaraj Nagar area. It’s a local operation where we deal with plastic goods and manufacturing. The street can be a bit tight, so parking isn't always the easiest thing to find around here. Inside, the shop is mostly filled with bags of raw materials and stacks of finished products waiting to be shipped out. We’ve got a few machines that run through the day. They make a steady rhythmic sound that you stop noticing after an hour or so. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who have been working together for a while. We know the machines pretty well by now. Sometimes they act up, and we have to spend the morning fixing a belt or cleaning out a jam. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we do. We try to keep the place tidy, though plastic scraps always seem to find their way into the corners. During the monsoon, the rain on the tin roof is so loud we can hardly hear each other speak. We just keep working through it. Customers usually call ahead or just drop by the gate to see if their order is ready. We don't do much advertising; people just know we’re here on Kathiravan Street.
