Our place is at No. 1-230 Cement Road, right near Eswaran Koil Street. It’s a busy intersection and there’s always something going on outside our window. Kaizen 360 Exports is basically run from this small building. We’ve got a lot of history on this street. The rain sometimes leaks a little near the back door if it’s a really heavy storm, but we just put a bucket there and keep working. We handle a lot of different things, mostly just coordinating between suppliers and the people who need the goods. It’s a lot of logistics, which means a lot of spreadsheets. My eyes usually hurt by five o'clock. We don’t have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. If the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. We like it that way, it feels more real. The locals walk by and wave, and we know the rhythms of the street, like when the vegetable cart comes around. It’s a practical way to run a business. We don't use big words or pretend to be something we aren't. We’re just a small team on Cement Road trying to get the orders packed and shipped out on time. It can be a bit chaotic during the peak seasons, but we usually figure it out eventually.
