Our office is on the second floor of a building on Jaffer Syrang Street in the Parrys neighborhood. It’s number 2, and you have to head up the stairs to find us. If you’ve been to Parrys, you know it’s a maze of small streets and shops selling everything under the sun. Jaffer Syrang Street has its own particular rhythm, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. Our space isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We spend our days mostly handling paperwork and talking to people about their requirements. There’s a lot of back and forth, and the air is often filled with the sounds of the street below—horns honking and people shouting. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. Usually, you’ll just walk in and see us working at our desks. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of all the old files, but we know where everything is. We take pride in just doing the work without making a big deal out of it. Most of the people we work with are regulars who have been coming to us for years. We don’t do any big marketing; we just rely on being here and doing what we say we’ll do. It’s a simple way of running things, and it has worked for us through all the changes in this part of Chennai. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we just turn the fans on and keep going.
