Jr Qc Engineer

Our workspace is at 435 Mariamman Koil Street in Cuddalore. It’s a pretty standard street and the building is just a regular place where we do our engineering work. We focus on quality control, which means a lot of checking and measuring all day long. Cuddalore is right near the coast, so the air is often salty and humid, which we have to keep in mind when we are looking at materials and metal parts. We don't have a big staff or a fancy office setup. It's mostly just a few of us with our testing equipment and a lot of logbooks. We spend a good chunk of our time making sure that everything coming through meets the right standards. If something isn't right, we have to mark it down and figure out what went wrong. It’s repetitive work sometimes, but it’s what we are trained for. We don't do much in the way of advertising or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people who already know we are here on Mariamman Koil Street. The neighbors are friendly, and it's a decent place to work. We try to be as thorough as we can because mistakes in this job can cause big problems later on. We just keep our heads down, do the inspections, and keep the records as clear as possible. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the work week.
