Our office is at No. 30 on the 2nd floor, situated on 3rd Cross Street in Kasthuribai Nagar. We are right in the middle of Adayar, which is a place that never really stays quiet. Being on the second floor helps a bit with the street noise, though you can still hear the horns and the general bustle from below. The 3rd Cross Street is one of those typical narrow roads where you have to be careful when driving. We have a few rooms here where we manage all the export stuff. It’s a plain office with simple furniture and a lot of computers. We spend most of our time looking at schedules and making phone calls to different vendors. The walk up to the second floor is good exercise since we do it several times a day. We like the neighborhood because there are plenty of small shops and places to grab a quick tea nearby. It feels like a very lived-in part of the city. We don’t have a big reception area or any fancy decorations on the walls. It is just a functional space where we handle our business every day. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when the whole team is in, but we make it work. Most of our neighbors are either families or other small firms like ours. It's just a normal workplace in a busy part of town where we get our shipping tasks handled.
