John W Roberts & Co is based in the Majestic Plaza, specifically in units 51 and 52 on the second floor. It’s at 118 General Patters Road, right in the Mount Road area. Getting up to the second floor can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens now and then. We’ve been in this building for quite some time. The office is full of old files and desks that have seen better days, but they still work fine for us. We aren't interested in having the newest furniture or a polished look. We just need a place to handle our business. General Patters Road is a busy spot, so there’s always a lot of energy around the building. We spend our hours mostly doing paperwork and talking to people on the phone. It’s a regular office life, nothing too exciting. We have a few windows that look out over the street, which is nice when you need a break from the screen. We don’t use any big marketing slogans. We just stay here and do the work that needs doing. Most of the people who work here have been around for years, so we’re like a small family. We know the regular visitors by name and we usually have a pot of coffee going. It’s just a practical, straightforward business on Mount Road.
