Jm Frictech India Pvt. Ltd.

Our place is out in the G27 spot at Sipcot Industrial Park in Katrambakkam Village. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here to Irrungattukottai, but once you’re here, it’s all industrial stuff. Jm Frictech India Pvt. Ltd. is basically just a group of us working in the plant. We deal with parts and machines most of the day. It’s dusty and can get pretty hot in the summer, but that’s just how it is in a place like this. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything. It’s mostly just the workshop floor and a small office space where we handle the paperwork. Most of us have been working in this park for years, so we know the neighbors. We show up early, get the machines running, and stay until the job is finished. There’s always something that needs fixing or a part that needs checking. We don’t really do big speeches or corporate stuff. We just focus on the metal and the measurements. Sometimes the supply trucks are late and it throws the whole day off, but we figure it out. It’s honest work. The village nearby is quiet, which is a nice contrast to the noise inside the park. We just keep our heads down and make sure the output is what it should be. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do here. Most days we eat lunch together and talk about whatever is happening in the news before getting back to the machines.
