Jk Fenner India Ltd is located right on Anna Salai in Nandanam, which is one of those places that never really goes quiet. Our building at number 480 is easy to find if you know the area, though parking can sometimes be a bit of a gamble depending on the time of day. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite a long time, dealing with belts and pulleys and all the mechanical things that keep other machines running. It is a lot of logistics and talking to people on the phone. The office isn't anything too special, just desks and computers and a lot of filing cabinets that have been here since before I started. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp because there is always something needing to be shipped or a query coming in from a factory somewhere else. Nandanam has changed a lot over the years, with new shops opening up and the metro construction making things interesting for a while. We have a small team here, and most of us have been working together for so long that we don't really need to explain things twice. It is a steady kind of life, coming in every morning while the city is waking up and heading out when the lights on Anna Salai start to glow. We just focus on the work at hand and try to stay organized in the middle of all the city bustle.
