JC Electronics & Electricals is tucked away in Pudupet, on Adhithanagar Salai. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s the place to go when you need something specific for your car or your home’s wiring. Our shop is at 99/A and it’s usually packed with all sorts of components. We deal with both electronic parts and general electrical stuff, so there is never a dull moment. The shelves are mostly overflowing with switches, wires, and little bits that I can usually find even if it looks like a mess to anyone else. We started this small business because we liked fixing things and seeing how they work. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so we spend a good amount of time cleaning the glass counters. Most of our customers are people who live nearby or mechanics looking for a particular part they can’t find anywhere else. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the inventory well. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit outside on the bench until it comes back on. It’s a simple way of living and working. We don’t do much advertising; people just know we are here on Adhithanagar Salai. It’s a practical shop for practical needs, and we try to help out everyone who walks through the door.
