Jazz Traders And Exports

You can find us over on M.B. Street, right at number 45. It’s a busy part of Ellis Road, so there is always noise from the traffic outside. We spend most of our time dealing with boxes and paperwork. Since we do exports, there are always crates sitting near the door waiting for the truck. It’s not a very quiet office. Someone is always on the phone or checking a list. The floor is concrete and has some scratches from moving the heavy stuff around. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the records. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fan running pretty much all day long. Sometimes the mail is late, which can be a bit of a headache, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just trying to get the orders out correctly. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but our building stays the same. It’s got that old smell of paper and wood. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything for people to sit in. Usually, folks just come in for business and leave once the details are sorted. It's a straightforward way to earn a living. We just keep our heads down and focus on the shipping schedules. That's really all there is to it at Jazz Traders.
