Arumbakkam is a very crowded place, and our street is no exception to that rule. There is always someone moving something or a bike zooming past the front door while we are trying to talk. We have a small office that stays pretty busy with all the import and export tasks we manage throughout the week. It isn't a polished corporate environment by any means. We have boxes stacked in the corners and the desks are usually covered in layers of paperwork and pens. We do our own filing and answer the phones ourselves. When the heavy rains come to Chennai, Kalki Nagar can get a bit muddy and flooded, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the floors afterward. It’s just part of being in this part of the city. We focus on getting the goods through the port and making sure the documentation is mostly correct so there are no delays. Sometimes things go wrong, and that’s when the office gets a bit loud and stressed, but we always manage to sort it out. We aren't here to give sales pitches or use big words.
