Jainsons Purasaiwalkam

If you are looking for us, we are inside the Garden Apartments on Purasaiwalkam High Road. It is a busy spot, especially being so close to the Canara Bank where there is always a line of people. We start our mornings by cleaning the glass front and moving some of the heavier items around to make the place look a bit more organized. Purasaiwalkam is always crowded, so our shop gets its fair share of foot traffic. It is not a very big space, so things can get a little cramped when more than three people come in at once. We have shelves that go all the way back into the shadows. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is asking for, but we usually get there. The ceiling fans have been there since the day we opened and they make a bit of a clicking sound, but they keep the air moving. We don't have any fancy displays or marketing posters on the walls. It is just the products and us. We spend a lot of time chatting with the other shopkeepers in the building. We share news about the neighborhood or complain about the heat. It’s a very practical way of living. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just open the shop, do our work, and head back to our families when the sun goes down. It’s been our routine for years now.
